【摘 要】本文分析了当前大学英语视听说课程的教学现状及目前教学中存在的问题,并对多媒体网络下视听说课程进行了探讨分析,以期在以“学生为主体,教师为主导”的先进教学理念指导下探索出较为先进的教学模式。

【中图分类号】G642 【文献标识码】A 【文章编号】1674-4810(2014)11-0018-02大学英语教学一直是教学改革的重点。教育部在2004年颁布《大学英语课程教学要求(试行)》之后,2007年2月教育部再次发文《关于进一步深化本科教学改革,全面提高教学质量的若干意见》,提出要进一步推进大学英语教学改革,在大学英语教学中广泛采用先进的信息技术,推动基于计算机的英语教学改革,切实推进大学生英语综合运用能力,尤其是听说能力。这一要求表明大学英语教学重点从阅读写作转移到听说上。改革的另一核心之处在于四六级考试,文中指出充分发挥其引导高校英语教学改革的作用。考试内容设计以促进学生学习可持续发展为目的,逐步增加视听说内容,考试方法变为网考与机考。这给大学英语教学提出了新的挑战,同时也要求英语教师必须从《要求》出发,转变观念,更新教学模式,才能跟上时代前进的步伐。

一 传统听说课教学现状

大学英语视听说教学方面,传统教学中存在很多问题。主要有:(1)过度强调听力训练,弱化了其他技能的培养。视听课程的目的是培养的学生的英语运用能力,而非简单的听力训练。(2)音像内容流于形式,缺乏深层次加工。随着教学条件的改善,多媒体已融入视听课堂,大量的原版英文电影以其精彩的画面、引人入胜的情节以及地道的发音吸引了学生的兴趣,获得教师与学生的喜爱。但在这些材料的应用过程中,许多教师并未深度加工处理这些原材料,而是将视听课简单的变成了电影放映室。由于缺乏对材料的合理加工、利用,没有了师生的互动交流,再好的音像材料其教育价值也没有得到有效的发挥。(3)在传统角色中,教师始终占有课堂的绝对控制权,成了教学设备的操纵者,播放录音、视频,让学生机械地听、练,而学生作为被动的接受者,只是在课堂上枯燥地一遍遍听着录音,师生之间的互动并不活跃。教师没有个性化教学,学生也未主动参与到课堂中来,从而影响了课堂教学的质量。大学英语视听说课程是一门实践性、实用性很强的课程,课程的目的是通过学生的视、听、说过程使学生了解在实际生活和工作中可能出现的情景,并且通过教学活动切实提高学生的听力、口语以及英语语言的综合运用能力,以便于在今后的工作中能高效运用。但现在教学
