As to the teaching method, I will mainly use Task-based teaching method and Communicative Approach method.

As to the learning method, our students are in senior grade one, they

are quick in thought, eager to show what they know and eager to get more knowledge. Thus, the methods of advanced self-study, cooperative learning and communicative learning would help a lot.

Part V: teaching procedures

As Ss are the real master, teacher should act as a guider or an organizer in teaching procedures. This part contains _5_ steps.

Step 1, revision, costs about _10_ mins.

Check the homework and dictate the new words and expressions. Step 2, reading and finding, cost about _10_ mins.

Ask Ss to read the passage in reading and underline _________ and work in pairs to figure the meanings out.

Step 4, practice, costs about _8_ mins.

Finish the discovering useful structures and then do some consolidation exercises.

I Teaching Aims:

1. To develop Ss’ basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Reading is the focus in this lesson. Reading skills for Ss include (predicting, skimming, scanning and digesting.)

2. To encourage Ss to practice, participate, and co-operate in the classroom activities.

3. To get Ss to know something about … and have a better understanding of the importance of …. As for teaching approaches, I think … II Teaching Approaches Communicative approach and Computer-Assisted Instruction are to be used in the course of this lesson. And I will try my best to limit TTT, that is, limit Teacher Talking Time and increase STT (Student Talking Time).

一、教材

1、教材地位

内容来自定语从句是中学英语中最基本也是最重要的从句结构之一,同时也是高考重要语法考点之一.在日常交际口语中,定语从句被经常使用尤其对于初学者来说,它是理解和解释一些新概念或者复杂概念的有用工具.但是,学生们掌握定语从句的结构和功能却并不简单,尤其是从句中关系代词的选用及句型的构建时常困扰着学生,导致有些学生害怕定语从句,不敢也不能流利地使用它来表达.所以这部分语法知识是教材当中的重中之重。

2、教学目标

本单元的教学目标是:让学生熟练掌握定语从句的结构和用法,以及能够灵活自如的应用。

二、重点及难点

学生学习本单元的重难点在于让学生正确及充分掌握定语从句的基本规则。

三、教法和学法

本单元采用首先把主动权交给学生,让学生对同班同学进行主观描述,造句,并引导学生进行句子变化作为课前导入的基本材料;课中采取3P教学模式,首先采用归纳法让同学们自己在句子的变化中寻找规则,然后老师加以引导和概括;并在讲解句型和练习当中采取演绎法,巩固和加深印象;课后再次总结所学,并在布置较为灵活的作业,让定语从句得到课后拓展和实际应用。

四、教学程序

本节课采用3p教学模式

第一步,用一系列巧妙的问题直接将学生的注意力引入今天的语法内容,达到轻松导入的目的,既是让同学们自己造一些简单句并且问他们有没有什么办法可将其中两个连接起来,通过板书的巧妙运作,最后老师直接介绍定语从句,这个方法容易将学生的注意力迅速集中到课堂上来并且提高了大家的学习兴趣,提高了课堂效率。

第二步,presentation,介绍定语从句的几个重要特征,让学生能够判断什么句型属于定

语从句,老师举出实例,检验学生是否会判断了;然后学习本课的另一重点,即是,几个关系代词在定从中的用法。此方法通过让学生自己发现规律,而不是老师把规则强加在学生头上,不断举例反复强化,会起到非常显著的教学效果。

第三步,practice,通过课后练习,巩固学生对定语从句的掌握。

第四步,production,让同学们自己举出两个简单句,并让所有同学一起将几组句子改成定语从句。提高了学生的灵活运用的能力。
