(一)编排特点

通过全面研读教材,我认为本册教材具有以下几方面特点 1、贴近生活,易于接受在选材上选取了动物、运动项目、实物等话题,易于学生接受。

2、有简入难,便于理解

在学习内容上坚持有简入难的原则,如在举行学习上先安排了肯定句及其否定句型的学习又进行了一般疑问句和特殊疑问句的学习。 3、故事为主,激发兴趣

课文在呈现上一故事和对话为主,形象生动,能够激发学生的学习兴趣。 4、注重听说,培养能力

在每个模块都安排了Listen and point, listen and say , point and say 等听说部分,注重学生听说能力的培养。

5、字母教学,夯实基础

在第一个模块学完字母歌,以后的每个模块都配有单词和图片安排了两到三个字母的学习,夯实学生的基础。

(二)编写体例

本册教材共包含10个新授模块,一个复习模块。每个新授模块又包含两个单元,第一单元呈现本模块所要学习的语言内容,第二个单元呈现若干任务型练习,包括一首歌谣小诗或韵律诗。书中收录有两个单词表,第一个是学习词表,分模块按照出现顺序收录了要求学生掌握的单词;第二个是参考词表,按字母顺序收录了本书中出现的全部生词。此外,本书收录有一个课外阅读故事,供教师和学生根据教学兴趣自由选择使用,不做教学要求。课本最后还收录有26个英文字母的手写体和印刷体,要求学生区分和掌握。

(三)内容结构

本册教材在内容上,第一模块描述自己最喜欢的物品,第二模块识别并描述动物,第三模块表达自己喜欢与不喜欢的运动,第四模块,询问他人的喜好,第五模块,询问时间并表达活动安排,第六模块描述学校生活和周末活动安排,第七模块学习中西方节日及风俗,第八模块描述四季、天气和相关活动,第九模块,询问并描述拥有的物品和交通方式,第十模块,描述物体的位置。

(四)内容整合

为了更好的把握教材,对教材内容做以下整合。第1,3,4模块主要学习个人喜好这一话题。第一模块谈特别喜爱的My favourite toy is a car.第三模块谈喜欢与不喜欢I like? I don’t like? 第四模块询问别人是否喜欢Do you like??这些句型的学习为以后学习sports day,picnic等业余爱好做准备。在第一册学习了描述物体颜色如It’s red.的基础上,本册教材第2学习描述物体特点。第二模块描述动物特点如:This monkey is small.第七模块描述季节和天气It’s hot in summer.为以后学习It’s big and light. We lived in a small house.等描述物体特点的句子做准备。第5,6,8模块学习描述活动安排,第五模块学习时间安排如,

She goes to school on Mondays.第六模块学习周末活动安排I go swimming. 第九模块学习拥有某物、交通方式,She goes to school by bus.为以后学习Go straight on!You should look,then cross the road等交通规则做准备。在第一册学习了指向Point to的基础上,本册教材第八模块学习描述物体位置如It’s on your desk.为以后学习描述城市位置做准备。

从语法方面来看,本册教材词汇量加大,出现了大量名词如:玩具交通工具类:动植物名词、食物类名词、水果类名词、衣服、四季、学科类名词,描述人或物特点的形容词、描述天气特点的形容词、动词词组。

人教版:

(一)语言与文化 语言有着丰富的文化内涵,语言与文化密不可分。学习语言不仅仅是学习语言本身,同时还要了解语言所传递的文化信息。《英语课程标准》指出,接触和了解英语国家文化有益于对英语的理解和使用,有益于加深对本国文化的理解和认识。本套教材在系统编排语言知识的同时,注重激活学生已有的文化背景知识,并由浅入深地介绍英语国家的文化,培养学生对中西方文化差异的敏感性,寓思想教育于语言教学之中,提高学生对文化差异的鉴别能力,使学生逐步学会在实际情景中恰当而灵活地运用语言。这套教材语言地道,有很多原汁原味、反映西方文化的文段;在第4、5册的每单元之后设计编写了阅读专栏,所有内容均涉及东西方文化交流。

(二)突出学生主体,尊重个体差异 学生的发展是英语课程的出发点和归宿。本套教材在目标设定、教学过程、评价等方面都突出以学生为主体,并尊重个体差异。在教学内容的编排上突破传统的单层次的教学编写模式,每个单元分为Section A和Section B两个部分。Section A为本单元教学的基本词汇和语言结构;Section B是在Section A基础上的知识的扩展和综合运用。教师可根据学生的自身条件和基础,以及学生的个体差异,灵活地和有创造性地使用教材,在不影响教材的完整性和系统性情况下,自主地补充或取舍教学内容,分层次教学。学生也可选择自己感兴趣的内容,自主地调整学习进度。

(三)发展学习策略

学习是一个发展的、能动的过程。本套教材在编写的体例设计、教学过程的实施等方面,侧重于学生学习能力的培养,在学习的每个阶段均考虑到学习者的需求,包括帮助学习者做出决策,即让学习者“学会学习”。同时,在教师用书的编写中,我们详尽地指导教师如何有意识地帮助学生形成适合自己的学习策略,并具有不断调整自己的学习策略的能力,为学生的终身学习奠定基础。

采用任务型语言教学的编写模式 任务型语言教学,其核心思想就是要模拟人们在社会、学校生活中运用语言所从事的各类活动,把语言教学与学习者在今后的日常生活中的语言应用结合起来。简言之,就是用所学过的语言去做事情。但它并不排斥语法教学,而是在准确掌握基本语言知识的基础上所从事的活动。

我对外研版小学英语教材——《新标准英语》的认识

通过聆听张露老师的示范课,收获颇多。我对外研版小学英语教材有了新的认识。

1.新标准英语的目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。综合语言运用能力的形成建立在学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养整体发展的基础上。语言知识和语言技能是综合语言运用能力的基础,文化意识是得体运用语言的保证。情感态度是影响学生学习和发展的重要因素,学习策略是提高学习效率、发展自主学习能力的保证。这五个方面共同促进综合语言运用能力的形成。

2.小学英语的教学内容大多源于生活,应用于生活,与生活实际密切相关,教材主要从学生的兴趣点出发,挖掘贴近生活的知识点,设计大量的真实的情境,让学生身临其境地感受语言,充分发挥他们的想象力,让所学致用于所用,在亲身体验中获取成功的喜悦。

3.新标准英语教材以图文结合的形式,以主角人物Sam、Daming、LingLing、Amy、Ms Smart和一些配角等贯穿整篇课文。本学科是重视听说读写的训练,教师要规范板书,注意大小写笔顺、笔画和标点符号的示范,培养学生正确的书写习惯和良好的发音习惯等。它要求教师根据自己的特长,帮助学生学习欣赏英文的手写体,并引导学生学习模仿,形成学生的规范书写。通过抄写、默写、听写、合并句子、先说后写、语篇的仿写等方式锻炼学生写的技能,巩固和运用所学到的语言知识。

通过新标准英语的学习,我对教学有更深的认识,有更新的理念。我将在今后的教学中应用这些理念运用到自己的教学实践中。

外研社教材使用经验交流

2009年9月,我们威海地区小学英语从2007级三年级学生开始使用外研版教材。从教材研习会上我们已获悉新教材的一些显著优势,尤其是它的大量新颖的配套教辅材料.比如头饰,多媒体课件素材不但为我们提供了旧版教材无法媲美的条件资源,让原本枯燥的语言学习充满趣味。再者,新教材突破了旧版教材区域化的局限性,广泛试用于全国包括北京,青岛等多个大中城市,无疑拓展了我们在讨论教学过程中遇到的疑难杂症的平台。

经过了一年的新旧交替的实践摸索,我任教的两个三年级班级分别…(此处插入取得的成绩)下面·我将我的体会和收获归结为以下两方面: 首先我们要继承和发展已有优势

我认为以下几方面仍然是我们提高学生成绩的焦点。

一是备课找准切入点。每课时重难点和导学目标的确定则是完成任务的突破口。

我相信好的开始是成功的一半。在导入与新授环节我力求尽可能多地将创设大情景与激发学生自愿学习相结合。我们创设的情景必须贴近孩子的生活,才能激起孩子主动想学的欲望。因此我们必须先了解三年级孩子中的流行元素和最近时尚动态。比如他们最近热门的动画是喜羊羊,是大角牛还是哪吒,变形金刚?然后利用简单的课件,几个人物或场景图片,或

一两分钟的主题曲或视频,一下子把学生吸到我们预设的情景中。说到这儿,我要感谢我们的校领导对我们英语学科的大力支持,不但多媒体硬件设施齐备,还为我们定购了所有外研版配套材料,包括实用的课件和生动的动画,头饰,挂图,简单却有效的单词卡。这些为我们的学生顺利进入我们设计的情景提供了便利。而且我认为,单词卡应该是大家每节课必用必备的教辅工具,因为我们教材容量之大几乎超过了课时的容载量,因此很多重点词汇的复现率大幅下降,这个改变对小学生成绩的影响是难以估量的。此时单词卡能帮大忙,每节课前三两分钟注意利用单词卡进行简单而快速的单词复习,效果显著。而且一个班的成绩很大程度决定于后进生,而他们需要更多的重复。单词卡复习单词省去了板书的时间,节约了黑板的空间,形式可以灵活多样,比如常见的'开火车','眼疾嘴快',孩子们还喜欢,何乐不为?

在激趣环节,我们设计的情景也好,游戏竞赛也罢,都是为学生主动学会而研发,如果忽视了课堂的游戏是教学活动的一部分,偏离了既定目标,那就纯属浪费宝贵的上课时间。另外激趣的多样性和参与性相辅相成。一成不变的游戏会让学生缺乏热情,参与率自然降低。为保证更多的学生高效参与,我们首先保证在大部分学生已经熟练掌握的基础上开始,千万不能让课堂游戏成为老师和几个学生的专场表演。其次,游戏活动有了创造性才能赋予它无穷的生命力。我们可以通过网络等多种途径,借鉴也好,盗用也罢,总之物尽其用。激励机制在这里也要发挥其重要作用。利用竞

赛结果刺激,或用红星,标志等鼓励学生,都不失为一种延续学生兴致的好方法。我经常用的是男女比赛或四大排之间的竞赛,有条件的话可以为比赛作持续性记录,每节课累积,看谁是月度,年度的最终莸胜者。各种标志奖励可以即时鼓励在游戏中或者课堂上的表现突出学生。不过物以稀为貴,我们在发放时要吝啬一些,多了无任何刺激可言。

关于操练环节,我的经验是词汇重重复呈现,句子重趣味应用,对话重交际运用。这里面最关键的还是词汇。如果说课堂有十分钟可以操练,我会用六分钟练习单词的认读,书写,两分钟对话和句子。最基本的元素不具备,一切都无从谈起。并且我发现,整体成绩较其它班级差距较大的班,他们的学生对单词的掌握,在单词的音,形,义掌握水平方面都很低。这样班级的孩子考试时,他们自已心里没底,想有理想成绩很难。

在一年的实践中,我发觉课堂小结`学生做主'是激发三年级孩子自主学习的有效方法.此过程不但是让所有学生对本课时的重点内容,进行系统化复习的过程,更是对他们自主学习能力的培养过程。先由优生总结,再让中等生依葫芦画瓢,最后过渡到全体学生,这样的效果比我们重复三遍效果要理想得多,因为让学生感受到了主人翁意识,自古没有奴隶有过伟大的发明,恰是因为主人翁意识的淡漠。学生明白了自己是知识的主人,自然会引发他们的内部学习动机,这,正是我们所期待的最终目标。 第二方面我想说说对新教材的特殊之处的困惑

在我看来新版教材的显著特点有三。一是网络媒体资源丰富,对我们

来说是优势。第二是它内容涵盖范围增大,时间有限,重难点难以取舍。同旧教材相比,它似乎多了近一倍的容量,而我们的课时,按规定并没有增加。而且按规定每模块第—单元为精讲精练,但我觉得第二单元的有些词汇也有让学生掌握的必要。我们应该怎么办?重新研读一下《新课标》,也许会有些头绪。无论什么版本的教材,都要以此为据吧?还有每次的教材培训,我们总能从中莸得启发,让我们的课堂教学水平日益成熟和提高。 第三是新教材使用之后,两极分化日益明显,后进生难以兼顾。哪个班都会有那么几个学生,他们是各科老师课后热衷的对象。我班的后进生我安排给成绩并不最突出,但有责任感的中上生,以此作为红星榜上他们与水平相当学生,甚至优生竞争的额外收获。因为优生通常会有优越感,与他们结对子未必是最佳搭挡。这是—项需要长抓不懈的艰巨工程,我们需要从学期开始就着手实施,并全程监督,不断挑起各对子之间的战争,适时鼓励,奖罚有据。

总之,快乐,智慧,高效,是指导我们使用新教材的不二法门。无论课程改革走向何方,只要我们用心研究,不断探索,勇于创新,敢于实践,定能与时俱进,取得理想业绩。
